It’s no longer news that about 70% of the candidates that wrote 2021 Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam failed which led to the reduction of courses court off marks by JAMB and few universities and polytechnics, even with that about 25% of the candidates fell below the court off marks with many preparing to write another JAMB and some have lost faith which resulted to lie self esteem.
If you are reading this, I’ll have you to know that yes, it is possible to enter University without JAMB but you’ll need an O’level result which is one of the more reasons why you should study hard to pass the WAEC, NECO or GCE exam.
The process is quite tedious and expensive but grants a candidates the opportunity to use only O’level results.
Here are the requirements:
1. Before starting, the candidate would be required to write an entrance exam.
2. Get space (Housing/Accommodation) of the candidate house is far away from the school.
3. Attend lectures & tests
4. Write a final examination
Therefore, if the candidate doesn’t meet the pass mark for his course, he would have to drop to a lower course or forfeit the result.
After the examination, you would see admitted into 200 level of the course you chose.
